• Why Does Skin Age?

  Aging skin and wrinkles result from a combination of many factors. It’s not just about cellular changes, collagen depletion, hormone loss, or damage caused by freee radicals.

• Do you treat only women?

  Although our specialty is in women’s health, We do treat quite a few men. We welcome all patients to our medical spa.

• What is Botox ® cosmetic?

  It is a prescription medicine that is injected into muscles and used to improve the look of moderate-to-severe frown lines between the brows in people 18-65 years of age. The effects are temporary.

• Is Botox FDA approved?

  Yes, It was the first botulinum toxin to be approved by the FDA to temporarily treat moderate to severe glabellar lines between the brows.

• How does Botox Cosmetic Work?

  It works by blocking nerve impulses to the injected muscles.

• When will I see results from Botox?

  Within days, you may see a marked improvement. Lines continue to improve for up to 30 days and results can last for up to 4 months. Individual results may vary.

• How Does Juvederm Work?

  As you age, su light and other factors can reduce the amount of Hyaluronic acid in your skin. Lack of HA causes your skin to lose structure and volume, creating unvanted facial wrinkles and folds. Juvederm is a safe and effective way to replace the HA your skin has lost, bringing back its volume and smoothing away facial wrinkles and folds.

• Does Latisse work?

  We have seen results in patients using Latisse. The lashes grow gradually over time with some people beginning to see longer lashes in about four weeks, with full growth at 16 weeks.

• What happens if I discontinue the use of Latisse?

  Eventually, over time your eyelashes will return to their previous appearance.

• How does Laser vein treatment work?

  Our Cutera system delivers pulses of light energy which cause the blood within the vein to coagulate, eventually destroying the vessel which is later reabsorbed by your body.

• Is there a laser treatment that works on redness and management of large pores?

  Yes we do perform whats called laser Genesis which gently heating the upper dermis well below your skin’s surface, Laser Genesis stimulates collagen regrowth.

• Can you treat brown spots and sun damage with a laser?

  Yes, Limelight offers the advantage of improving skin tone and surface imperfections associated with agin and photodamage. You will need 1-3 treatments.

• What is Pearl?

  Pearl renews your skin’s surface with quick, visible results. Pearl treats fine lines on the face and neck, uneven skin texture and light & dark spots caused by sun damage. The top layer of the skin is treated and a portion of the epidermis(skin surface) is gently removed with pulses of light. After 3-5 days the protective dressing peels off revealing new healthy, vibrant skin underneath. The pearl laser treatment stimulates new collagen growth, filling out and decreasing fine lines and wrinkles. New collagen growth continues for 4-6 weeks post-treatment.

• How many treatments are required for Laser Hair removal?

  We recommend 5-6 treatments each one 4-6 weeks apart.
