• Can I get my ultrasound images on DVD to email them to relatives?

  Yes

   

• Can an ultrasound tell me if I’m ovulating?

  Yes along with blood work

   

• When can we find out the gender of my baby?

  Usually after 17 weeks

   

• When is the best time to get the 4D ultrasound?

• Can you estimate what my baby will weigh?

  Yes, we can get an ESTIMATED fetal weight with an ultrasound.

   

• When do I come in for my first OB visit after a positive pregnancy test?

  6 weeks after your last cycle.

   

• When do I do sugar (glucose) testing during my pregnancy?

  26 – 28 weeks

• When do I need to get the Rhogam shot if I’m RH negative?

  28 weeks

• How often should I have a pap smear?

  Typically you should receive a pap smear every year, however under certain circumstances recommendations may vary. Please consult your physician.

   

• Do I need a pap smear if I have had a hysterectomy?

  It is recommended that you get a pap smear every 2 years after a hysterectomy.

   

• How often should I have a mammogram?

  Recommended to have one yearly after age 40…1st mammogram at age 35.

   

• How often should I have breast exams?

  Clinical breast exams yearly and self breast exams monthly.
